Guess the Word Game
Description-With JavaScript, users can participate in a letter-guessing game. The game randomly selects a word from a remote API and the user has a set number of attempts to correctly guess the word.

GitHub Repo
Description-Using JavaScript, the API from my GitHub was fetched to display my Public Repos in the DOM. Creating global variables, event listeners, & Click events to use the matches() method, and an async function to pull data for a selected repo, and the ability for a dynamic search of my Repos.

Unplugged Retreat
Description-From a design comp for a 3-page website, I hand-coded a fully responsive 3-page website to the specifications listed, using only HTML and CSS. I used Gimp to view the design comp and its elements and I coded the site using Atom and VS Code.

A Front End Web Developer
I am always on the lookout for new coding skills, innovative effects, and exciting color combinations to enhance user experiences, with a steady attention to detail.
My journey into coding started back in high school, where I learned Basic Code. Later, I taught myself Front End Web Development to showcase my growing kids and my passion for building webpages was launched. Since then, I have accumulated over 20 years of experience crafting web pages, both for small entities and large-scale projects.
Communication is key in any successful project, and I possess excellent communication skills honed through training. Whether working independently or collaborating with a team, I bring a strong sense of confidence, adaptability, empathy, and a customer service mindset.

Fun Things About Me!
I enjoy jogging, walking, snowboarding, or Netflix bingeing with my kids. I love traveling with my partner and exploring the world.
Education:
Skillcrush Break Into Tech Program- The Skillcrush Break into Tech program has taught me to build modern web pages and web apps. This course trained me to use Vanilla Javascript and React properly, build reusable modules, and track updates with Git and GitHub version control.
Other skills provided by the classes helped me to build pages from Design Comps and to be aware of UX and UI design elements. The Skillcrush program was essential in reinforcing my confidence as a Front End Web Developer by building on my strengths and pushing me to grow in areas that I was unfamiliar with, Vanilla JS and React as examples.
The support network that I have been exposed to in this educational setting has been top notch with great feedback and a group of contacts that I can call on when I need help, as an alumnus.
Maricopa Online Tutorial- This is an online course that I downloaded in 2002 and it taught me the basics of building HTML and CSS.
